Introduction:
Wireless networks is one of the biggest innovations in the current times. Now people do not need to have an Ethernet wire to connect to the other computers in their vicinity or worldwide. Instead routers and modems are used for transmitting the signals. There are several benefits of the wireless networks but there are disadvantages as well.
Advantages:
1- Convenience is the biggest advantage of the wireless networks. Now devices can be connected from anywhere in a home or office space.
2- It is easy to transfer the wireless network from one place to another.
3- It is less costly as the equipment such as wires and cables are not there.
Disadvantages:
1- Main disadvantage of wireless network is security. Unintended users can log into a network by hacking easily. This compromises the security.
2- In public wifi networks, it is difficult to track an individual if he makes some illegal use of the internet.
